Deny Yourself and Follow Christ

This week we celebrate Passion Week by reflecting on how we can live a pleasing life to Christ. Let’s visit a conversation Jesus had with his disciples in Matthew 16. Here, Jesus compelled anyone that desires to follow Him to first deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. Self-denial is no joke, and it certainly is not optional.
