I am: Michael Bramante Singletary

m.b.$

Son of Michael Singletary & Meisha Anderson….

I was born & raised in Southeast San Diego (The Diamond District) – an area that is infamous for its gang culture, low-income housing, and high police activity. Living in an area judged by its image, I was introduced to adversity at a very early age. It came in the form of tragedy, struggle, and triumph. Living in such an adverse environment, the pressure of surviving every day blanketed us. This constant tension of gang activity, police harassment, and watching your environment inflict self-harm on itself forces you to decide who you want to be quickly, or it will decide for you. I am fortunate to have had the proper guidance that steered me in the right direction, and generated me to want to become an advocate for those younger than me.

My parents & Southeast have produced an icon in the making, an artist, and most importantly, a human being who cares for others. I am a creator, musician, producer, drummer, lover…you pretty much get the point, hahahahaha. I enjoy spending time with my friends & family – the people who bring my spirit joy and who strive to be better humans in all aspects of life….

I’ve grown to understand this life I live through vibrations and frequencies and that

we control the frequencies we give off and that the universe reciprocates those vibrations.

I consider my mind a garden… where my thoughts are seeds….

Continue to love yourself, live for yourself, and trust YOUR process. I’ve learned over the years that it is best to be active towards your dreams and let the universe receive the energy you omit. You get out what you put in and hard work is always revealed.

I just want my music, my art, and my mind to touch all creeds and colors, I want my art to be universal, because I am universal…
